To fix this, I clicked on the ASIO Configuration button in the audio device prefs and changed the sample rate from 44.1kHz to 48kHz and this instantly resolves the problem. Re-installing the usb-audio drivers allows me to now enable the inputs but another problem came up here too: BLASTING NOISE! Reaper does in fact detect these drivers but as others have noticed, the 'Enable Inputs' is blank. Strangely enough the usb-audio drivers did not work until I first installed the DigiDesign drivers from the AVID website. I've looked carefully through this thread:Īnd it helped me get started.
Not the best choice of hardware.I know.but it's all I have at the moment (other than my noisy sound card input). I've been trying to get off the ground here with Reaper using my Mbox2. I'm re-posting this for better visibility.originally posted in compatability section.
